Didn't expect much but this tiny inline controller actually fixed my problem — the volume slider on my phone is buried under a case, so now I just leave the knob at a comfortable level and adjust by feel. Wheel moves smoothly with no crackle.

Compact and easy to use, this little volume control sits right where I need it on the cable. Makes adjusting levels on the fly much simpler than fumbling for my phone.

The inline dial is stiff enough that it doesn't drift in my pocket, which was my main worry. Plugged it between my phone and earbuds and now I can nudge the volume without digging the phone out on the train. Does exactly what it says.
